EEO#.ZOFFSET

Description

Sets the position within each revolution where the Z pulse will be generated, when the one Z pulse per revolution mode is selected (EEO#.ZMODE 0).

When the primary feedback position (within a revolution) equals this value, an index pulse will output.

When using multi-turn or single turn absolute feedback devices, the Z pulse generated by the EEO will always be aligned with the same mechanical position as the primary feedback position. When using an incremental feedback device, the origin of the primary feedback is not at the same mechanical position each time the drive powers up.

Examples

Code

To set the Z pulse to be generated at an offset of 90 degrees (1/4 turn) expressed in counts:

-->EEO1.ZOFFSET 1073741824 [Counts]
